Cavglass assisted at Devereux & Huskie Glassworks. Within this time, he had learnt new techniques and processes and improved upon existing skills furthering his creative practice.
Cavan participated in a collective end of year show in London at New Designers. Being able to promote his glassware to the public was beneficial to Wright receiving commentative criticism about his work.

During his second year of university, Wright sought out work experience and was given an opportunity by Bristol Blue Glass in which he absorbed an extensive first-hand experience of production glass.

Wright studied 3D Design Crafts at Plymouth College of Art and chose to specialise in hot glass. Falling in love with the material from the start, his time at university led to a journey of exploration within his new found medium.

Before embarking on a degree, Cavglass studied art & design at college learning a plethora of subjects. From discovering the movement of minimalism to learning photography, it's here where Wright's artistic capabilities were first realised, transitioning from illustrative works to sculptural.
